Surf's up!
Over Labor Day weekend, Jameson received his first taste of beach life in beautiful Virginia Beach. Not shockingly, he didn't get a tan. Fortunately, there was a camera around to capture every detail:
Lesson #1 - Sand is not edible.
"But Aunt Jean, I thought the sand would sit well in my tummy!"
With Uncle Peter and Aunt Charlene. Not pictured: the "McCain/Palin 2008" sticker that Uncle Peter slapped on Jameson's back.
"Dude, why are you doing this to me?"
"no, really, why are you doing this to me?"
"Oh, OK, I guess this surf has some potential."
"Uncle Bud, count my fingers. That's how many games back the Yankees are!"

I'm Walkin'
Yep, we're all officially using two limbs to get around the house. Jameson is a walkin' fool. Here's a short and long video of him walking. Don't worry, he didn't hurt himself in the short video (he just likes tumbling from time to time).

da da da da da da, they say it's your birthday!
Yep, he's officially one year old! Here are a few pics from the party:
Um, hope you're into penguins, Jameson...
Pre-party revelry...
Liz Teter's off to France, but she's not going to meet any guys more suave than Jameson over there...
Where's the cake?
Ah, there it is.

Back to Texas...
Jameson recently returned from Texas, where he saw his Uncle Dan get married to his Aunt Emily. He also had a dress rehearsal for his first birthday party:
"So, what's that on the ceiling, Great-Grandpa?"
With cousin Katelynn...
... and cousin Kendall.
"No, really, I don't have to go to the bottom of the slide."
"OK, it rocked."
No visit to Texas would be complete without a tractor ride. Getting it from Grandpa just makes it all the more fun.
With Uncle Anthony...
Uncle Chris and Jessica...
Great-grandma time!
"OK, I can't blow the candle out yet - any volunteers?"
"I could get used to this cake thing."
So sweet...

... and, of course, no trip to Texas would be complete without an Oscar Mayer Wienermobile.
